TONIGHT @ 7PM: Using Custom Fonts Legally to Create Better Movie Posters, Book Covers, Pitches, etc.

If you think you are pretty good at design, and know where to find great stock images (,, etc) you may be shocked at just how awful your posters and book covers look. No matter what you do, or how hard you work, they look like they were made by an amateur. Often the problem is that you aren’t using professional fonts. In this workshop you'll find out how to buy fonts (and why you should to avoid legal problems), and how to use them in Canva and in Photoshop (which only costs ~$20/month these days). Learning how to make your own artwork can save you a lot of time and money, and makes it much easier to make changes when required.

Sign up to attend this workshop for $20 or less at You'll get ALL the live workshops and a library of 120 recorded workshops as well. Cancel your monthly membership at any time.

Remember we have a very simple sign up process. For just $20 you get access to ALL these events. You also get access to 120+ recorded workshops that cover everything from film funding with banks and investors, to finding distribution, to screenplay sales, to selling your consulting services.

April 20 @ 7PM How to Buy and Use Special FX in Videos, Films, and Animations

In this workshop, you learn several fast and cost-effective ways to add special FX to your film posters, book covers, ads, and films. Just as there are libraries of stock images, there are libraries of special effects, and learning where to find them, and how to use them, can have a big impact in the kind and quality of projects you can do. You can spend a lot of money hiring others to create these FX for you, but learning how to create them yourself may well be a better investment.

April 27 @ 7PM Attorney Asa Pitt: Creative Rights Agreements and the Impact of Divorce

In this workshop we’ll be addressing the importance of ownership of your screenplays, films, videos, designs and other intellectual property and how those rights can be impacted by a divorce. This is a critical workshop for anyone considering working creatively with a partner. This workshop is especially critical if you are married.

Asa Pitt is CEO and Founder of the Pitt APC law firm. Pitt APC is a boutique entertainment law firm that works with some of the biggest groups in entertainment, including the likes of Amazon and CAA. Asa specializes in working with up and coming artists and brands to ensure that their rights are protected. Pitt APC recently closed working as production counsel on the independent film, The Mattachine Family where Asa handled all agreements on behalf of the production company (talent, crew, locations, vendors, rights, investments, etc.). In addition to his entertainment clientele, Asa is constantly mediating divorce settlement agreements where he functions as a neutral third party, guiding negotiations between spouses towards an amicable divorce settlement. Asa studied Entertainment Law at the Chapman School of Law and previously worked in business and legal affairs at United Talent Agency.

May 4 @ 7PM Tik Tok Promotion

In this workshop you learn how to promote yourself, your books, your films, and your other projects on Tik Tok. You’ll master skills that make creating great videos easier, including how to create amazing ones that don’t force you to be on screen.  You’ll also learn how to run ads, and how to acquire followers. Tik Tok is easier to use than Facebook or Twitter as a promotional tool, and many folks like it much better both as creator and viewer.
